ESPA activities on ITB
The countdown to the 52nd ITB Berlin from 7 to 11 March 2018 has begun: many of the halls at the World's Largest Travel Trade Show are already fully booked. Altogether, the show's management expects around 10,000 exhibitors and organisations from over 180 countries and some 110,000 trade visitors to attend the 26 halls on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.
The huge prospects that medical tourism has to offer the global tourism industry will be highlighted at ITB Berlin.
The Medical Presentation Corner is part of the Medical Tourism Pavilion in a separated area at ITB Berlin (Hall 21.B / 214). Medical tourism suppliers have the opportunity to showcase visual product presentations (e.g. powerpoint presentation) to an audience of up to 50 people during the trade visitor days from Wednesday, March 7 - Friday, March 9, 2018.

Hosted Buyer workshop - Market focus: China/USA
Partnerships in European Tourism is an EU initiative aimed at supporting EU tourism businesses and operators wishing to expand their businesses into the Chinese and US markets - organisation of B2B matchmaking and other promotional events alongside international fairs. On the morning of Wednesday 7th March also ESPA delegates will participate in a B2B matchmaking workshop, offering pre-assigned appointments between China/US operator buyers and European suppliers. ESPA will engage in business meetings this year for the first time.

RLA's 5th International Wellness and Spa Tourism Monitor 2017
RLA's IWSTM 2017 looks at how travel and tourism contributes to the operation and success of wellness and spa facilities and venues. Global trends and operational performance are also analysed in the assessment. The report that will be prepared based on the results will feature the geographical specialties and how wellness and spa operations may differ in terms of performance, guest mix and development alternatives.
